- About Creator: Of Azorean origin, Adelina Medeiros was born in 1943 in São José, metropolitan region of Florianópolis. Daughter and sister of potters, she only started modeling at the age of 35, but, perhaps by force of conviviality, she already started with perfection. She is an artist who permanently refines the use of color in the pieces that represent figures from Santa Catarina's folklore and also from the Azorean culture that marked the region.
