This painting by the studio of Martin van Meytens gave its name to the so-called Carousel Room. It shows the Ladies’ Carousel held by Maria Theresa in the Winter Riding School of the Vienna Hofburg in 1743 to celebrate the retaking of Prague by Austrian troops during the War of the Austrian Succession.
