The photo shows weavers at work on the horizontal (semi-broad) loom. This type of loom allows weavers to sit whilst weaving. Weavers use both their hands and feet to operate the loom. The warp is placed quite far away from the loom under heavy stones to keep it taut, which gradually moves closer to the loom the more cloth that is produced.
