After a long time in the hands of a military regime, Burma is a country in transition. The opponent to the dictatorship, Nobel Peace Prize winner and emblematic figure of this transformation, Aung San Suu Kyi, sits in Parliament today. The country, whose 70% of the population works in the fields, is plagued by clashes between ethnic groups.
