This post card, mailed September 8, 1914 at 9:30 a.m., depicts one of the lake scenes at Grant Park, in Atlanta. Grant Park, Atlanta's oldest city park, was a popular leisure spot for citizens. In 1903, John Olmsted of the Olmsted Brothers firm drew updated plans for the park, including expansion of Lake Abana.
