Majipa Lakhe performers are required to pray and offer kesali;only then that they are permitted to wear the mask and costumes. They carefully plan and prepare the eight-day performance schedule. Three to four performers take turns for a day of performance. Important days are covered by the most experienced performer; others follow to observe, learn, and practice.
