Lambdotherium is a member of the family Brontotheriidae, relatives of horses, rhinos, and tapirs. It's deep - grooved teeth suggest it was a browsing herbivore, enjoying a diet of leaves and twigs. Bronthothres were a very successful group of mammals soon after the extinct of the dinosaurs and grew to massive sizes before their extinction nearly 30 million years ago.
