By the summer of 1907, Daniel Garber and his wife settled into what is often considered the most picturesque spot in Bucks County, along the Cuttalossa Creek near Lumberville, Pennsylvania. In many of his landscapes, he celebrated the beauty of the surrounding area, including this study of churches in Lambertville, New Jersey, across the river from New Hope.
