Description: This is the second lampshade that Masó created for the large hanging lamp in his parent’s dining room, in place of the original he had designed in 1910. The flounce features four groups of satin and taffeta campanulas over a background of painted green leaves, to be hung from each of the lamp’s four sides, alternated with yellow moiré fabric. The fine and varied needlework was carried out by two of the architect’s sisters, Paula and Angelina.
