Porcelanas Bidasoa had a wide variety of machines used to perform the different operations involved in making china and porcelain. Only a small selection of the machinery has been preserved.
The picture shows miscellaneous machinery: workbench, plaster beater, glaze mill, kiln. The plaster beater was used to make the material used to make the first moulds (in “aralita”), from which other plaster moulds would be made. Here the cauldron has been replaced by a basin for the glaze.
The glaze basin was used to carry the glaze from the place where it was manufactured to the glaze shop. It was carried on a wooden cart.
