Landscape Study: Figures by a Clump of Trees

This sketch was probably painted in one of the London Parks. The number of people walking and riding suggests a central London or Westminster Park (perhaps Green Park), rather than the wilder, windy terrain of Hampstead Heath which was previously suggested as a location.
