The conventional concept of landscape has little to do with it, we are looking at pure abstraction. The front-facing vista is added to the aerial view, the sky and the land becoming confused in the same density and colour they are treated with. The landscape is a mirror that reflects the interior world of the artist himself. It is the very essence of the Tarragona region, a landscape the painter has been familiar with since he was young, from which he has extracted its basic component, its internal structure, so that he can then work with total freedom in terms of forms and colours. Antonio Gonzalo Lindín (1920 - 1999) He was trained at the Workshop and School of Painting and Sculpture of Tarragona and in 1947, the year of its inauguration, he joined the teaching staff of the School of Art of the Provincial Council of Tarragona as a painting teacher. His pictorial career began in the pictorial and landscape tradition and reveals the influence of his teacher Ignasi Mallol. He later achieved an initial degree of abstraction, which he quickly abandons to plunge deeper into abstract geometry, with which he  achieves his own pictorial language.
