Inscriptions: Summer Leaf III (formerly Leaf D). Artist's inscription, signature, and seals:
[seal] Sanmei you.
Massive in size, its trunk is truly grand,/
Luxuriant in foliage, its color never fades./
Standing along and still growing upwards,/
The trunk intends to be beside the clouds.
Mei Qing of Qushan [painted] and inscribed in imitation of old Shih-t'ien's [Shen Zhou] brush idea in the gengwu year [1690], summer, the sixth month. [2 seals] Quxing, Qing; Yuangong. [2 seals, lower right corner] Huasong; Bo jian shan kou ren jia.
