The forceful colours, intricate shadows and skewed perspective emphasise the three figures’ dynamic gestures. They appear as if caught by a snapshot, like a cinematic freeze-frame recording a moment of eternal domesticity. Although the figures are physically close to one another, they appear to inhabit their own self-involved space.
