About Creator: At the age of 12, he learned from his father how to work with tin and zinc, as well as how to recycle tin when there was a shortage of material; he also installed and maintained chimneys. With his trade, he provided for his family until the 1950s, when plastic and aluminum came to compete with him. In 2004, at the age of 85 and already a widower, he still worked mornings and afternoons in his workshop, reserving his evenings for chatting and playing checkers with friends.
