외출할 때 입는 겉옷[포(袍)]이다. 소매가 넓으며 옷자락의 뒤가 트여 있다. 사규삼(四䙆衫) 등과 함께 착용한다. 일반 양반층의 성인 남성과 남아들도 겉옷으로 입었다. 허리에는 세조대를 둘렀다.
