Las Margaritas is a multi-layered effort to reformulate, through the common management of water, land, and other resources, interactions among inhabitants of the San Luis Potosí desert and those who circulate through the area. The region, sacred to the Wixaritari people, is threatened with destruction by mining and agroindustrial corporations.
