Late Greek-Roman imitation amphora found on the portico of an Industrial room of the Baelo Claudia salting factory area. The typology reminds as of roman wine amphora Dressel 1A, but it clay paste suggests a Hispanic imitation, possibly produced in the Bay of Cadiz.

Marks, grooves and Latin letters in an "S" and "C" may have been related to the content, filling process and product measures of various kinds. Is possible that contained preserved fish, possibly a variety of mixed sauce.
