This paper folding fan features a brightly-colored daily life scene in the yard, figures in which applied ivory applique for face and silk or gauze applique for garments. The elements are arranged in a crowded but pleasant manner. While on the other side, peacocks and birds were painted on the foundation coated with silver powder. There are altogether 16 wood ribs with a coating of red lacquer, which, together with the two guards, are all ornamented with gold-tracing figures and flowers. The head of the fan is painted in gold.
