A pewter basin of hanging form, the backplate engraved with lions and supporting the Tablets of the Law with Hebrew inscription. Large oblong trough with 'S' scrolls joining backplate, the front engraved with scene of woman performing the blessing of the Sabbath lights and man washing hands, separated by floral patterns. It was intended to hang on a wall below a small water tank. The right pendant ring is a modern restoration.
