The parachute

"If a man has a starched canvas frame measuring 12 "braccia" along the side (around 7 metres) and 12 high, he can jump from any height without danger" (Leonardo's comment accompanying the sketch).
Lot of wrong ideas turned around Leonardo's famous parachute. In contrary of nowadays, the italian master sees it as a flying machine.
