Who is the strongest? Who is the weakest? Where does power reside in today's society and how can we measure the power that rules in different contexts? Huang Yong Ping proposes some of these questions in his work: a prototype for a society in which insects create relationships defined not by economic structures but by their own independent nature. Linearity is not the only model of our progress; a new way of interpreting circularity allows us to reconsider how cooperation might occur in a wider sense across the planet we've become used to crossing only one way.
