Lea Bridge Stadium, Lea Bridge Road, Waltham Forest, Greater London

Lea Bridge Stadium was London's only stadium built specifically for speedway. It opened in 1928, closed in 1934 and re-opened briefly four years later. From 1930 until 1937 it was home to Clapton Orient Football Club. The stadium closed in 1938 and is now the site of an industrial estate.
