Leaf tea jar with design of plum blossoms and bush warbler

This is a Yixing ware jar, made with purple clay and fired at a high temperature. It is decorated with applique designs of plum blossoms, a bush warbler, and a poem. The lid is made of metal and covered with yellowish green damask fabric, woven with a design of Chinese children.
