One of only two Lear Fan 2100s in existence today, this aircraft is the first business aircraft constructed entirely of carbon fiber composites. Designed by the famous William Lear as a highly fuel efficient, lightweight aircraft, Lear passed away before the project could be completed. His wife continued development until Learavia’s bankruptcy in 1985. This particular aircraft first flew in 1982 with 970 flight test hours.
