Leather flask

Leather flask with silver-gilt revetment and filigree ornamentation with enamel and ribbed almond-shaped corals. Portable flasks-gourds constituted an indispensable part of the soldier’s or traveller’s equipment and, when richly decorated, denoted the owner’s social status.
