LeBlond Heavy Duty Lathe

Built during World War II, this LeBlond Heavy Duty Manual Lathe was used by the U.S. Navy at Hunters Point Naval Shipyard in San Francisco until it was acquired by the Golden Gate Railroad Museum. The lathe was traded to the Trolley Barn at History Park in exchange for pattern work; subsequently, the lathe was used to turn the wheels on Horsecar Number 7.
