This leech-shaped fibula (a sanguisuga) is made of two joined halves and decorated with beaded wire and small rosettes along the spine of the hollow bow. On top of the catch-plate are two pairs of gold granules enclosed by scrolls. Adhered to the sides of the bow and at the end of the long catch-plate are gold foil rosettes.
