Leeds Road was home to Huddersfield Town from 1908, the year the football club was formed. This Aerofilms photograph from 1949 shows the upgrading of the Popular Terrace. Town played its last match at Leeds Road in April 1994 before moving a short distance to the Alfred McAlpine Stadium. Leeds Road became a retail park.
