Two Amazon archers setting out, accompanied by a dog. The Amazon on the left, missing most of her upper body and head, as well as her left foot, gestures with her left hand. The other Amazon (legs, left side of torso and part of her head missing) looks back. Both wear a similar costume: Phrygian cap, necklace, short belted chiton over a close fitting long-sleeved and trousered combination, spears, quiver, and sheathed sword. In the field, to the right of each Amazon's head, “nonsense” inscription. At the top of the panel, two rows of ivy with dots between the leaves. In the side frames, a key-pattern. The figures stand on a red line that encircles the vase.

The mouth and upper portion of the handle are missing. The inside of the neck is glazed to the level of the ivy pattern at the top of the panel. The flattish handle is completely glazed save for a small area on the inside. The torus foot is glazed on the top and side, with a red line on the edge. The lower edge and underside are reserved.
