Leitza, seen from the greenway

In a widening of the valley of Leitzaran in Gipuzkoa and surrounded by green mountains extends Leitza, formed by neighborhoods and various hamlets scattered in green meadows. Beautiful picture that can be enjoyed from the Plazaola Greenway. Highlights include the church of San Miguel and its striking tower, large stone houses with gabled roofs, wooden balconies and large eaves. In Leitza, many sequences of the famous film "Ocho apellidos vascos" were recorded.
