Leitzaran Valley, Protected Biotope

This protected biotope encompasses the Leitzaran river and its surroundings, whose area is delimited by the course of the river that runs from Navarre to the Guipuzcoa municipality of Andoain. Unique space, in addition to the water quality of the river for hosting an exceptional wealth of flora and fauna, both terrestrial and aquatic. To this natural wealth is added its cultural heritage (ironworks, elements of the old railway of the Plazaola and megalithic remains...).
