Length of Fabric

In 1967, Countess Elsie Gozzi (d. 1994), president of Fortuny Inc.and close friend of former Valentine Museum volunteer, Elizabeth Runk Kayan (1899–1990), donated a selection of Fortuny fabrics for use in an exhibition held at the Valentine Museum by the Virginia Chapter of the American Institute of Interior Designers. The urns, anthemion motifs and classical figures on this print are as fresh and relevant today as they were in the 18th century.
