The leopard (Panthera pardus) is the most widespread species of big cats. In the ASEAN region, the species is known to occur in Cambodia, Indonesia, Malaysia, Myanmar, and Thailand. A stealthy and opportunistic hunter, the leopard preys on almost anything ranging from insects to medium-sized mammals.
