Letter from B. M. Sen, the then Principal of Presidency College (now Presidency University) to the Director of Public Instruction (DPI) of Bengal, in response to his letter dated 27 January 1940, informing him that the attendance in the college as well as in the Hare School was normal and that there was no demonstration in these institutions. The Hindu School remained closed on account of the Sanskrit Association Examination.
