I feel certain that if Mr. Portinari were here he would be glad to comply with your request. Therefore I shake take it upon myself to do so. You see I am not an agent. As a friend I gladly offered to keep some of the exhibits until such time as it might be deemed safe to ship them back to Brazil. There are 9 dry-points and 7 lithographs which I am shipping to you, as you suggest, by express collect. I am insuring them from $20. each although I have no idea whether this is the price Mr. Portinari would put on them. On that matter I wish you would deal directly with him.
