Over twenty student protestors signed this March 2, 1963 letter to Women's College of the University of North Carolina Student Government Association President Carol Furay pressing her to take action toward desegregating businesses adjacent to campus which are frequented by students. The students argue this is a college matter since the school has desegregated and both white and African American students want to be able to socialize together.
