Letter (Jeon In-sik) (4/4)

A letter dated July 8, 1987, from Army Lieutenant Colonel Chae Myung-shin (retired lieutenant general, former commander of South Korean forces in South Vietnam), who was commander of the 11th Army Regiment and of the Skeleton Corps combined guerrilla unit of the 11th, 12th, and 13th regiments, to the president of the Vietnam Veterans Association of Korea, Jeon In-sik (whom he refers to as ”comrade”). The letter is a penitent recollection of days past, confessing the circumstances at the time to all soldiers and officers of the Skeleton Corps.
