This is a letter from Leanne Coughlin, Managing Editor of BC Studies: The British Columbian Quarterly, a journal that publishes academic articles. The letter is addressed to Dr. Michiko "Midge" Ayukawa and tells her that the journal wants to audio record one of her most famous articles, "Good Wives and Wise Mothers: Japanese Picture Brides in the Early Twentieth-Century British Columbia."
