Letter Written by King Jeongjo

This letter with its envelope attached was sent from King Jeongjo to his officials. King Jeongjo often sent letters to his officials to exchange opinions about national affairs, and many of those letters have survived and are currently housed in various places including the National Palace Museum of Korea. In this letter, King Jeongjo questioned his officials' views on on the dismissal of the Hamgyeong Provincial Governor from office in details.
