Taken from volume two of "Henryk Sienkiewicz's Correspondence", these are two of several letters written to the novelist by Maria Konopnicka between 1902 and 1906. The letters refer to a protest action against the Prussian Germanization policy, which the poetesse was organising at the time in Italy.
