Library at Hacienda la Vega, Vogue

The library of the Hacienda la Vega, the home belonging to the wealthy couple Reinaldo and Maria Guevara de Herrera (Mimi Herrera) in the valley of Caracas in Venezuela. This room is hung with family portraits; over the red damask sofa hangs an ancestral painting of Andres Ibarra, Venezuelan hero and aide-de-camp to Simon Bolivar. The walls are covered in a red-and-white wallpaper and family heirlooms decorate the space.
