Lidded Basket with Strap

This covered birch bark container is end-sewn and positive etched. Its lid, like two of its sides, depicts a symmetric plant and flower motif. The other sides have separate designs, and do not match. There is a hole on either end, probably intended for a strap which no longer survives.
