Lieutenant Stevenson guides Hue, a Vietnamese boy, in getting a feel of a cricket bat - even if it is only a strip of plywood. The boy was orphaned after his Viet Cong parents were recently killed. The wicketkeeper is Captain Peter Ray of Wilston Grange, Qld, the commander of the Mobile Strike Force. Note the barbed wire fence in the background.
