“Life Sustainers” sculpture, depicting the forces and resources that watch over humanity: Grandmother Moon, who regulates plant growth; the Thunder Man, whose rain waters Mother Earth; the Three Sisters, namely corn, beans, and squash; and strawberries – of sacred value. The corn mask represents the men and women who care for the cultivated land.

  • Original description: Sculpture "Forces nourricières" qui met en scène des puissances et des ressources qui veillent sur l'humanité: la Grand-Mère Lune, qui rythme la croissance des végétaux; l'Homme Tonnerre, dont la pluie abreuve la Mère Terre; les Trois Soeurs, à savoir le maîs, le haricot et la courge, et les fraises - à valeur sacrée. Le masque de maïs représente les hommes et les femmes qui prennent soin des cultures.
