The installation of a 45-ton magnet for experiment WA44, which is an experiment for a quark search in high-energy neutrino interactions by a Bologna-CERN-INFN collaboration, led by Antonino Zichichi. In this experiment, the neutrino beam will first strike a 23-ton lead target and should shatter nucleons to isolate the elusive quarks.
