"Ligabue", from the series "The Signs of Man"

This book offered a fundamental contribution to the national and international consecration of the italian painter Antonio Ligabue: the artist’s life and works are narrated in form of a poem by the writer Cesare Zavattini. This text has been subsequently re-edited by several publishing houses, and has indissolubly linked the name of Zavattini to those of the painter and of Ricci himself.
