Light and Shadow (orig. Licht und Schatten)

In this small painting on iron, Karl Schmid effectively reproduces the idea of light and shadow, playing with warm and cold colors, which he separates with a diagonal. Although the space occupied by shadow is larger, it is that of light which is eye-catching.
