Light vs Dark

Gerald Kihara's "Light vs Dark" photograph "depicts someone who is wearing a face mask to protect herself from the coronavirus and is staring at the shutters of her home feeling trapped". The images are part of the National Museum of Qatar collection. In 2020, the Museum began collecting artwork and documentation related to people's experiences of taking shelter as means to protect themselves and minimize the spread of COVID-19.
