The group decided to make a triptych banner, which would explore the three messages that they felt were most important to communicate. The pieces focus on commemorating the centenary, highlighting the group’s locality and expressing the need for equality.
“I really enjoyed being part of the art group and working together on the banner. Meeting other women, hearing their stories and admiring their creativity. I loved being part of the march, the sense of unity and celebration. It was uplifting, especially seeing how many young women and children were involved.”
